Blockstream chases silent attacker with encrypted on-chain letters over 598.5 BTC

Blockstream vs attacker: the OPRETURN saga continues
- After the attacker went quiet following his public ultimatum, Blockstream kept pushing: a 4.9 KB encrypted reply 14 hours later (the longest message of the saga), then a second 3 KB letter 20 hours after that.
- The attacker had promised to publish his private key but never did.
- Everything is verifiable on an OPRETURN Messenger page: Blockstream messages checked against its published PGP key, attacker messages signed by the stolen address's key, plus Liquid reserve vs L-BTC supply data.
- 598.5 BTC remain with the attacker; no public statement yet.
