Dev runs hash-grid fluid simulation in VRChat, letting fluid span the entire world
ZeroStateReflex · x · 2026-09-11
Developer Michael Moroz has implemented hash-grid-based fluid simulation inside VRChat. Because the approach is hash-based rather than grid-bounded, the fluid is effectively boundless and can occupy the entire virtual world. So far only "Mentos"-style particle rendering is done, and the author plans to try isosurface rendering next.
