Developer Brandon Galang shares his hands-on experience with GPT Astra: 1.5M+ tokens churned through over a weekend, feeding the model every creative idea he could never fully execute before.
His pet project: a cozy Tamagotchi-inspired visualization for Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy notes — the idea that each person is made of distinct "parts." He tried building it 4-5 times since his first (bad) full-stack app in Sep 2025, retrying with every model release, but it never felt right.
With Astra he finally got close to the first draft he wanted. His advice: if you have access, throw all your previously stuck creative ideas at it.
