Figure robots roam its San Jose HQ unsupervised as Scoble predicts AGI-style exploration soon

Robert Scoble reports that Figure's San Jose headquarters has a bunch of robots walking around with no engineers supervising, with Waymos streaming past every minute or so. He argues we know we don't have AGI yet because models aren't ordering Waymos to explore the world on their own — but at current world-model learning speeds, that behavior could appear next year. He predicts San Francisco streets will look completely different in four years, citing Uber's four-year global scale-up, while Figure's Brett Adcock says the scene feels like 2040.
