OpenAI launches Agents API: cloud agent building backed by the Codex harness

OpenAI is launching the Agents API, a new way to build agents in the cloud backed by the Codex harness. Developers can bring their favorite tools and connectors, attach any sandbox, and let the model run. Launch links are live, with the team inviting the community to show what they build.
