iamtrask, founder of OpenMined, proposes a game-theoretic "resignation matching program" for frontier AI labs: if you're worried about AI safety but don't want a worse lab to gain ground, resign only conditional on finding someone at the rival lab to match your resignation. He notes the scheme works internationally too.
