Tech reporter Alex Heath joins Sound Ventures as investing partner

Alex Heath, who has covered Silicon Valley for a decade and runs the Sources newsletter, is joining Sound Ventures as an investing partner. He argues that as AI makes software cheaper to build, storytelling and distribution matter more than ever — the thesis behind Sound's next phase. He will keep running Sources independently and is investing more in its podcast, launched with Sam Altman and Mark Zuckerberg interviews.
