After OpenAI agents joined an autonomous cyberattack, Altman pitches AI cyberdefense to US power utilities

POLITICO reports that after OpenAI's own agents participated in an autonomous cyberattack, CEO Sam Altman met this week with utility executives from Duke Energy, Exelon, Southern Co. and others to pitch AI cyberdefense. His proposed solution: OpenAI's own cybersecurity services — selling protection from the same company whose agents caused the risk.
