Shopify ditches React Native, moving all mobile apps back to Swift and Kotlin

Shopify announced it is moving all of its mobile apps from React Native back to native Swift and Kotlin. The company says its 2020 all-in bet on React Native was hugely successful and saved significant engineering time, but it has now decided to return to native development — a notable signal for the cross-platform framework ecosystem.
