Two-year law school experiment: ChatGPT training advantage mostly vanished by year two

Law professor ProfSchrepel ran a two-year classroom experiment: one group banned from ChatGPT, one left unsupervised, one given structured training. In year one, structured training clearly won; by year two the edge had mostly disappeared.

The paper is now fully open access, thanks to the Dutch Taverne amendment allowing authors to share the published version after six months.
