Meta's Stilla acquisition is a distribution bet, not an agent capability bet

The author argues Meta's Stilla buy is less about better business agents and more about where agents live: Meta already owns the messaging surfaces where millions of businesses talk to customers, so distribution is solved before capability.
But internal shared agents face harder trust problems than commerce agents: which teammate asked, which private context is allowed in this channel, who approved the action, and where durable state lives after the chat scrolls away. The real moat is the permission model plus shared memory plus receipts for every action — messaging is just the entry point.
