Stripe Launches Agentic Treasury in Public Preview, Lets AI Agents Move Money
jeff_weinstein · x · 2026-09-10
Stripe has opened a public preview of Agentic Treasury, exposing financial account capabilities to AI agents. Over 5,000 users a month already use agents to analyze spend and balances; the new capabilities let agents move money and convert currencies with user approval. Integration is via Stripe's MCP server (mcp.stripe.com) with OAuth-based authorization, working with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and other MCP clients.
