A parent at Alpha School's Brownsville, Texas campus is publishing an extensive Substack review series detailing frustrations: unfulfilled "Three Promises" (Love of School, 2x in 2hrs, Life Skills), removed Q-breaks and Workshops, staff churn, and a split between veteran and new families. When a parent worried kids would "be used as experiments in search of the right data," the Parent Coordinator replied "Alpha would NEVER do that" — a promise the author found offensive and untrustworthy.
