A Reddit user reports that opencode paired with the free Muse 1.3 model scans the entire code directory and even unrelated adjacent folders, despite setting "permission": {"externaldirectory": {"": "deny"}} in both global and local opencode.json files.
The user suspects the "free" model may be a Meta–opencode collaboration to harvest user data, and says this pushes them further toward local deployment. The post asks whether others have hit the same issue and why the permission setting fails.
