- Frank Dellaert's team published "Foundation Models and Hierarchical 3D Reconstruction" and presented "Hierarchical Structure-from-Motion Scales Feedforward Reconstruction" (presented by Harneet Singh Khanuja).
- They also shipped an interactive VGGT reconstruction-and-merging viewer: reconstructing clustered point clouds in reserved regions, merging them into a final frame, with Gaussian Splat rendering, eye-dome lighting, timeline playback and cinematic camera tours.
- The claim: this hierarchical, interactive point-cloud presentation is how SLAM/SfM results should be visualized.
