DeepMind researcher ChrSzegedy argues that as AI makes mathematics cheaper and deeper, Jevons paradox will strike again: math becomes even more fundamental infrastructure. Conjectures will no longer be centered on humans — AI systems will continually postulate, solve, process, and utilize math while tackling scientific and engineering problems.
