Responding to Ethan Mollick's concerns about agentic AI risks (citing the "Hugging Face Incident"), Google's Logan Kilpatrick said Google's focus is "equipping more and more cyber defenders" and confirmed the Gemini 4 models "will continue to push frontier on cyber." Mollick noted Flash models are less autonomous — for better and worse — as agent-level models raise stakes on both attack and defense.
