UISEE Technology joins Stock Connect as its 'AI Driver' subscription model takes off
Less than four months after its IPO, UISEE—the L4 autonomous driving leader in Greater China airport scenarios—has been added to the Stock Connect list. Its AI Driver subscription business grew 6x YoY in H1 2026, reaching 15.4% of revenue.
The model
- Shift from whole-vehicle delivery to kits + subscriptions: full-stack autonomy deployed onto work vehicles, supporting OEM pre-install and retrofit of existing fleets, billed per vehicle/mileage/hours.
- One remote operator manages 100 vehicles (industry norm 1:20-1:30); autonomous tractors cost 0.8 RMB/km vs 2.2 for diesel.
- Subscriptions bring recurring revenue and smooth out project-based volatility.
Tech and footprint
- UDrive®5.0 fits 56 vehicle models with a 100+ scenario library; new scenario development under 1 month. The 'Zaofu' AI delivery platform was open-sourced in July 2026.
- 90.5% share of Greater China airport market, 249 customers across 21 major hub airports; 10.2M+ km of driverless operation, 1,400+ deployments.
- H1 2026 R&D spend of 117M RMB (+20% YoY), 1,000+ patent applications.
Outlook: Subscriptions fit the CAPEX-to-OPEX shift and overseas labor shortages; UISEE signed MoUs in Singapore and is pursuing CE certification. Frost & Sullivan projects the Greater China closed-scenario commercial L4 market to hit 53.5B RMB by 2030 (52.1% CAGR).
