DeepSeek V4.1 Flash launched with an unusual promo video featuring founder Liang Wenfeng himself, alongside a catgirl character — and a title typo reading "V4.1 Flesh." The release touts lower prices, much faster speeds, and native multimodality, with claims it outclasses DeepSeek's own V4 Pro. The poster adds the model seems decent at roleplay.
