Developer pranshuchittora released simvyn, an open-source universal mobile devtool for agents and humans that controls iOS Simulators, Android Emulators, and USB-connected real devices from a single web dashboard and CLI.
- npx simvyn starts a local server, opens the dashboard, and auto-discovers all connected simulators, emulators, and physical devices
- Device management: discover, boot, shutdown, erase, create, clone, and pin favourites
- App management: install, launch, terminate, and uninstall via drag-and-drop or CLI, plus log viewing
- Requires Node.js >= 22.12; macOS gets full iOS + Android support, Linux is Android-only
Exposing mobile debugging via one dashboard/CLI makes it a natural fit for AI agent-driven automation and testing.
