Gamow Labs founder Daniel McKinnon shared on the MTS podcast how he won a $50K challenge to diagnose a child's rare disease. Organizers thought it was hard, but he says it was "a slam dunk for modern AI models"—many entries got the correct answer; his team topped the leaderboard only by submitting first ("thanks Hugging Face for sorting by submission time").
