Jacob Coxen announced his resignation from Anthropic, saying his three years of pretraining research at OpenAI and Anthropic convinced him both companies are 'gambling with our lives' by racing toward self-improving superintelligence.
The drama quickly deepened: @IntCyberDigest reported finding a LinkedIn account registered as 'Lucy tumer' under Coxen's own email address, plus two username changes and zero prior posts on his X account, casting doubt on the authenticity of the persona.
