Apple Watch Series 12 adds Audio Intelligence: 15-second Live Rewind, audio deleted on-device

Apple is bringing Audio Intelligence to Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4: Sound Recognition, Live Rewind (rewinds the last 15 seconds as a text snippet), Siri Recap summaries, and Shazam. Raw audio is processed in the S11 chip's Secure Exclave and immediately deleted, with no audio storage or speaker identification. Live Rewind and Siri Recap are opt-in beta features arriving later this year, require an Apple Intelligence iPhone 16+, and won't launch in the EU initially; some server-backed features have daily limits.
