AI agent runs autonomously for 12 hours to design a full 18-hole golf course

RorFly asked the AI agent "Astra" to simulate building an 18-hole golf course using maps and real topographic data — and it ran autonomously for 12 hours. It studied designers like MacKenzie, Doak, Coore & Dye, compared Sardinian and Tasmanian sites, matched LiDAR terrain to aerial imagery, shaped 19 bunkers, tested sightlines at eye height, and built custom terrain solvers with independent geometry audits. Output: a Three.js editor, 90 tees, 0.625m green-complex mesh, 2.18M triangles, drainage/cut-fill diagnostics, Blender scenes and GLB exports, plus cited design briefs. "No idea what it's doing... will report back."
