Lightfield raises $47M Series A led by a16z to build CRM for the agentic era

a16z has led a $47M Series A in Lightfield, a CRM built for the agentic era: a configuration-free data model that builds itself from emails and calls in minutes, while agents handle updates, follow-ups, handoffs and reporting. Since launching in November, 5,000+ companies have signed up, and it's replacing legacy CRM at mature organizations. Founder Keith Peiris argues Salesforce, designed 20+ years ago for humans updating records, produces low-quality agentic output because its underlying data is incomplete and unstructured.
