Apple event leans heavily on Siri AI: fast on-device, but not agentic yet

A large chunk of the Apple event went to Siri AI, and it was "OK," notes altryne. Since it mostly runs on-device, it works fairly fast — he used it to dial a phone number extracted from a non-selectable screenshot. Nice, he says, but Siri isn't agentic yet.
