Lightfield announced a $47M Series A led by a16z to reimagine CRM as a "world model of a business." Legacy CRMs like Salesforce were built for humans updating records, producing low-quality agent output; Lightfield records are fully readable/writable via API, MCP, and CLI and self-update from every interaction. Since launching last November, 5,000+ companies have signed up, including mature orgs ripping out legacy CRM.
