Gary Marcus calls frontier labs' risk math "certifiably insane": by their own numbers they take a 90% chance of getting rich over a 10% chance everyone, including themselves, is dead. He doubts extinction is that likely but says catastrophe odds are high, and questions why labs show no concern for their own safety.
