PawelHuryn · x · 2026-09-09
Pawel Huryn is rolling out GitHub integration for Grok Build for VS Code (community open-source, not affiliated with xAI) and the desktop app AFK Pilot. The VS Code extension has 99K installs on Open VSX and 26K on the VS Code Marketplace, and also works in Cursor and Antigravity. AFK Pilot (Windows/macOS) offers remote control of the IDE and desktop, plus free/cheap VPS with Grok, Claude, and Codex preinstalled (8GB RAM, 8 cores, bring your own subscriptions), also open source. Users can sign in at afkpilot.com with X/GitHub to get a free test VPS and connect coding agents and GitHub in a few clicks.
