Cloudflare Computer adds agent interruption recovery and approval pauses in v0.7.0
irvinebroque · x · 2026-10-27
Cloudflare's @cloudflare/computer agent code-execution environment shipped v0.7.0 with two notable capabilities:
- Resume interrupted runs: Setting onInterrupt: "replay" (on the backend or a single run) lets agents pick up after a deploy or crash. On recovery the JavaScript reruns from the start, but recorded results of completed calls are reused without reprinting output; calls whose results weren't recorded may be repeated, and an unsafeToRepeat() API flags operations that must not run twice.
- Wait for approval: Agents can pause on external actions, such as awaiting human approval of a tool call.
Setup mounts a Workspace on a Durable Object with a WorkerJavaScriptBackend, and the changelog includes full code examples.
