Sarvam and IDFC FIRST Bank Launch Joint R&D Lab to Build a 'Self-Improving Bank'
itsOmSarraf_ · x · 2026-09-09
Indian AI company Sarvam and IDFC FIRST Bank are establishing a joint R&D Lab to build a 'self-improving bank': AI systems that learn from the bank's operational signals (customer interactions, decisions, human corrections, outcomes) and improve continuously without rebuilding around each model change. The lab spans frontier research, post-training, and AI safety, testing new techniques against the bank's own problems in production within a regulated environment.
