Anthropic researcher Evan Hubinger says the team genuinely believes AI could kill all humans, putting his personal odds at over 10% within the next decade. He adds that while Anthropic is trying its best, there is not yet a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence, and it's unclear the field is on track.
