OpenAI's Korea office confirmed it is jointly researching and producing new AI chips with Samsung Electronics. The company said the co-development of next-generation chips is where it has made the most progress and gained the most recognition in its Samsung partnership, marking a significant step in OpenAI's custom silicon strategy.
