A Personal AI Reading Workflow: Turning a 2-Hour Podcast Into a 10k-Word Note
jiayuan_jy · x · 2026-09-09
Author @jiayuanjy shares an AI-powered reading workflow that has worked well in practice:
- Use MulticaAI as the information intake frontend, where agents filter for podcasts, articles, and interviews that match his interests;
- An Obsidian agent then condenses each item into a readable note — a 2-hour podcast becomes a 10,000–20,000-word illustrated article (he has shared the prompt before);
- Everything lands directly in Obsidian, so filtered, worth-deep-reading content greets him every day.
The core idea is a two-layer agent division of labor: one for curation, one for distillation, so high-quality long-form content ends up in a personal knowledge base in a form actually suited for close reading.
