Singapore releases world's first governance framework for agentic AI
Comfortable_Gene5180 · reddit · 2026-09-09
Singapore's IMDA launched the world's first Model AI Governance Framework for Agentic AI in January 2026. Voluntary with no fines, it's already becoming the reference doc for auditors and large clients. It covers four dimensions: bounding the agent's access upfront, making humans actually accountable (not just on paper), full technical logging, and keeping end-users informed. A companion video walks through an invoice-approval agent that quietly paid fraudulent invoices for 6 weeks because all four dimensions failed at once.
