Hacker runs tiny char-level LM on keyboard firmware to light up predicted next keys

Developer @Timeroot rewrote a keyboard's firmware to run a tiny character-level language model on its microcontroller, predicting which key you'll hit next.

Per-key backlight LEDs light up the likely candidates, and all inference runs locally on the keyboard — it works even without the computer attached. A fun embedded-ML demo.
