After OpenAI announced a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Problem produced by a group of agents using a next-generation model beyond GPT-6 Astra, math circles are revisiting Terence Tao's old strategy: in principle one could build logic gates out of ideal (inviscid, incompressible) fluid, construct a 'fluid computer,' and reduce building a von Neumann machine from a PDE problem to a software engineering exercise.
