NUS argues universities should pursue 'X + AI', not 'AI first'

At a discussion with NUS's major donors, university leadership laid out its stance on AI in higher education: instead of going "AI first", the university should think in terms of "X + AI" — using technology to strengthen every discipline while doubling down on judgement, curiosity, empathy, and deep focus, which it calls the "Human Edge".
