Robot arms opened to the internet: the best and worst of remote teleoperation

The author put a pair of YAM robot arms online (blupe.io/live) and let internet users drive them remotely, then compiled the highlights at 10× speed.
Highlights: one user succeeded at stacking a red block on a green one using an extremely detailed structured prompt (grasp strategy, obstacle avoidance, safe-stop conditions, a 3-minute budget); another wedged an apple into a tape roll; a "drop the apple on the floor" command was blocked by the arm's safety boundaries. Videos also compile all pick and stacking failures.
The experiment shows how real users interact with remote embodied agents: detailed structured prompts pay off, and safety boundaries actually work.
