QACMAN turns any URL into a scannable QR code that doubles as a playable Pac-Man maze

A developer built QACMAN, a page that turns any text or URL into a QR code that also works as a playable Pac-Man level. The trick: using Level-H error correction (the highest QR recovery level), the generator protects essential structural patterns and then carves connected paths through modules that tolerate controlled changes — keeping the code scannable while leaving room for dots, power pellets and ghosts. Different inputs yield different maze layouts. The author also notes that the four ghosts' AI in the original Pac-Man is simple but clever, each with distinct behavior, and that Pac-Man even has global esports tournaments. Extras include custom character skins, auto-play demo, video recording and embed sharing.
