Meta launches personal agent Muse with 1Password integration and Sentinel-guarded sandbox safety design
alexandr_wang · x · 2026-09-09
Meta Superintelligence Labs launched Muse, a personal agent, with a 1Password partnership so it can work with existing logins. Their engineering post details the safety-first design: a model trained for zero-shot CLI/skills tool calling, long context, long-trajectory instruction following with built-in prompt-injection awareness, and multi-agent coordination. The harness assumes the agent is under attack—running in an isolated cell, never seeing real credentials, with every external interaction passing through a Sentinel the agent cannot override. Hardening came from dogfooding, agentic red teaming, and a private bug bounty program.
