ECCV moments: hugging AZ, meeting Hartley in an elevator, and sprinting between clashing talks
CSProfKGD · x · 2026-09-09
An ECCV attendee shares conference highlights: seeing (and hugging) Zisserman, and meeting Richard Hartley — co-author of the classic Multiple View Geometry textbook — in an elevator.
The gripe: 3D talks and action talks are in different buildings, forcing runs between sessions, and two Vincents (Sitzmann 14:10–14:40, Leroy 14:00–14:30) overlap almost entirely, forcing a choice.
