OpenAI announced a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, unresolved for roughly 90 years. The proof was produced by a group of agents running on a next-generation OpenAI model the company says is significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra. Retweets claim over 10,000 better-than-Astra subagents ran for more than 88 hours to produce it.
