Box launches Mount to sync Box folders into agent sandboxes with built-in governance
badphilosopher · x · 2026-09-09
Box introduced Box Mount (Developer Preview now open), tooling for the fast-growing agentic coding ecosystem: mount a Box folder into a sandbox like e2b and keep it in two-way sync.
- Agents read and write Box content with standard file operations as if it were local;
- Every operation flows through the Box API, so governance applies automatically with no custom policy code;
- Getting started takes two commands: agent-mount config and agent-mount mount "/mnt/box" "<box-id>".
