Open-source sandbox CubeSandbox shipped v0.7.0 targeting production pain points: it's E2B-compatible (existing apps migrate by changing one config line), open source and self-hostable, adds multi-version component coexistence so upgrades no longer break old templates and snapshots, and separates the control plane from ops for clearer responsibilities and a smaller blast radius.
