Google glitch shows indexed homepages as 'Crawled, not indexed' en masse

Multiple site owners report Google Search Console showing their homepages as "Crawled, not indexed" despite being clearly indexed. SEO expert Glenn Gabe confirms seeing it too and says he'll ping Google — a suspected bug on Google's end.
