Stanford Team Joins DeepMind to Unify Genomic Motif Compendia, Open to All
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-09-09
The Kundaje lab announced a collaboration with the DeepMind team (Avsecz, Julia Zeitlinger and others) to unify motif compendia and sequence annotations, expanding them to as many assay types and cell contexts as possible. They invite outside researchers, including RNA-binding-protein groups, to join. The thread also points to their ENCODE GRAMMAR sequence model and inferred genomic grammar resource.
