@therealkamba weighs in on the AGI debate: even if you argue AI solved the problem via much faster pattern recognition, it is still a new idea — and a problem unsolved for 80 years despite many attempts is strong evidence of new idea generation. He concedes it doesn't yet make AGI, but argues 'we'll get to AGI eventually, with a new idea.' Opponents counter that solving the problem still doesn't constitute AGI.
