Google DeepMind has launched AlphaGenome Atlas, an AI-powered searchable database mapping the predicted impact of all 9 billion possible single-letter DNA changes. Sundar Pichai highlighted that it runs in a regular web browser, requires no coding, and is free for academic researchers. DeepMind says the resource could help researchers better understand our biology and enable new discoveries.
