DeepMind launches AlphaGenome Atlas: predictions for 9 billion DNA variants

coherence · x · 2026-09-08

Google DeepMind introduced AlphaGenome Atlas, a free-to-use platform containing predictions for the molecular effects of all 9 billion possible single-letter DNA changes in the human genome — the most comprehensive catalogue of how mutations affect molecular biology. By precomputing AlphaGenome predictions at scale, it gives researchers a genome-wide view, helping them quickly identify the most impactful variants and accelerating biology and disease research.
